08 February 2008-FRANKFURT Coast Media Data Center Upgrade Completed

Coast Media has today completed the upgrade of its Data Center. Coast Media made a decision in the end of 2006 to upgrade its facility. Major improvements include the implementation of a second power feed from the local electric company, Installation of 2 new Air Conditioning units, and the installation of a new central UPS unit to complement the rack mount UPS units currently in service.

13 April 2006-VADUZ Coast Media MVNO Interconnect Completed

Coast Media has today completed the Fixed Line and MVNO interconnection with Liechtenstein Tele Net, the incumbant voice telecommunications operator in Liechtenstein for its Fixed Line and MVNO Licenses. The mobile number ranges assigned to Coast Media are now reachable from all countries worldwide.

11 November 2005-FRANKFURT Coast Media Joins KleyReX Exchange

Coast Media has today joined the KleyRex Private Peering Exchange. By becoming a member of this traffic exchange point Coast Media has once again taken a major step in upgrading its internet connectivity and improving the quality of its network. Coast Media currently has peering sessions in place with all active members of the KleyRex Internet Exchange. Coast Media has an open peering policy towards all members of the KleyRex Exchange and accepts all requests for peering from new members as well.

09 August 2005-VADUZ Coast Media Awarded Fixed Line and MVNO Licenses in Liechtenstein

Coast Media has today been awarded Fixed Line and MVNO Licenses in Liechtenstein. The awarded Fixed Line and MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network License) Licenses are a giant leap forward in Coast Media's development as a full service supplier of telecommunication solutions for business customers. These new licenses coupled with the assigned number ranges allow Coast Media to offer mobile telephone service and value added mobility services worldwide.

26 April 2005-FRANKFURT Coast Media Deploys Own Autonomous System

Coast Media has today implemented its own Autonomous System (AS34899). The IP Backbone of Coast Media has been dramatically improved by the deployment of its own AS with multiple homing of the backbone. Customers now enjoy a dramatically improved availability and improved burst capability due the additional capacity added as a part of the AS implementation.

08 November 2004-AMSTERDAM Coast Media joins RIPE NCC

Coast Media has joined RIPE NCC as a member to access the resources of the European Internet Registry Organisation. As a member of RIPE Coast Media is able to request resources such as public addresses, Autonomous System Numbers, etc. for its own use as well as for customers co-locating with them.
